Deputy Minister of Public Order and Citizen Protection Nikos Toskas confirmed that the two terrorists responsible for the bombings at the Stade de France passed through Greece.
A few hours after French police had released a photograph of the second of the three assailants responsible for the attack at the national stadium in Paris and BBC’s identification of the person in question, Mr. Toskas admitted that two jihadists passed through Leros in early October.
“We cooperated with French authorities for two incidents, we identified them in record time. Those persons passed through Leros during the specific date, early October, and were involved in the attacks in Paris. French authorities asked us to give them the relevant information and we did it in record time because Greek authorities had made a good job in identifying persons’ information in Leros and we confirmed this information, “said Mr. Toskas speaking on Real FM station.
