The strengthening of the Greece–USA strategic defense relationship was at the center of the meeting between Dendias and a delegation from the US Congress

Clearly furious at his MPs’ objection last week on his decision not to receive cars in a symbolic and meaningful motion to limit the political system privileges.

“I was disappointed and felt bad when I was informed that MPs reacted and disagreed on my decision not to get cars. They reacted on spending 300 or 400 euro while their salary is 6000’’, he stated in a surprised and irritated manner, further adding that ‘’ we shouldn’t become like the others, and this is not populism but important details which will determine whether we are who we claim to be or not. How we behave while maintaining positions of authority will determine the length of our governing period. We are here to subvert monolithic structures and privileges’’.

‘’ We should keep off all kinds of authority complexes’’ quoting the well known Marxist line that ‘’ nothing which is human is alien to me’’. He also requested that there are rules of proper conduct and the line of proper behavior that was decided to be followed should be fully implemented and not shoved aside.
