At the end of a Parliamentary group session, Greek PM Alexis Tsipras stated that the “government’s operation and judgment will define the deal”.
According to sources, Tsipras stressed that “we are exercising governance with a popular mandate as our compass … we will wait to see which and how the rest of (European) parliaments will ratify the deal and then we will see to a political decision in the next 2-3 days.”
Following his address, a vote took place, in which a majority of the MP’s voted in favor of the deal with eurozone creditors.
