Main Opposition Radical Left Coalition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras launched the most personal attack yet against the Greek Prime Minister. Originally Mr. Tsipras had said: “Contrary to Mr. Samaras and his far right companions’ efforts, Greece remains fearless in the face of empty threats and turns its back on scare tactics,” while he further launched an attack against Mr. Samaras for the tactics he followed with creditors as well as for his decision not to negotiate Greek debt.

According to Mr. Tsipras, “no person in the right state of mind in Europe seriously believes that Greece’s debt is unsustainable and must be repaid in full” and he added that “everyone else in Greece and Europe vertically and horizontally contradict Mr. Samaras, including all those that originally had supported him.”

The leader of SYRIZA claimed that “New Democracy has lost the election before it has begun.”
