Turkish Air Force proceeded to a very provocative act today where on a national holiday’s eve six Turkish F16 fly over three Greek Islands.

Six armed Turkish military aircrafts made low attitude flights over three Greek islands. They invaded the Greek FIR, violated the Greek airspace and proved in a very provocative way the extend of the Turkish aggression.
The above incidents in detail, took place as follows:
They invaded Athens FIR at 13:11, between the island of Lesvos and Hios and then at 13:44 north of Samos, which means that they stayed in Greek airspace for 33 whole minutes.
6 (F16) flew over the island Anthropofagi at 13:37 at 500 feet
6 (F16) flew over Makronisi at 13:38 at 9000 feet
2(F16) flew over Agathonisi at 13:42 at 8000 feet
According to the GEETHA, all aircraft were intercepted and identified, according to the international standards established practice.
