U.S. officials are 99% sure they killed him

The ISIS terrorist dubbed by the media as “Jihadi John” is believed to be dead following a United States air strike on Thursday. Mohammed Emwazi, known as Jihadi John, was thought to be killed as he left a building in Raqqa, Syria, in what U.S. officials call a “flawless” and “clean hit”.

Emwazi, a British citizen, rose to notoriety in videos showing the executions of U.S. journalists James Foley, Steven Sotloff, U.S. aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig, British aid workers David Haines and Alan Henning as well as Japanese journalist Kenji Goto along with others.
