US Government unlocks San Bernadino terrorist’s iPhone

Technology used secret

The US government has announced it unlocked the iPhone that belonged to the San Bernardino terrorist. The government also said it was withdrawing its request to Apple after it was able to use a technology to breach a security error in the phone, but has not made it clear whether it will give this information to the company. In the documents presented to court by the US Justice Department the federal state claims it no longer need the assistance of Apple to lift the iPhone’s privacy blocks. A US Justice Department representative refused to disclose how the authorities managed to unlock the iPhone, and as the British Guardian claims, the technology used is top secret. It remains unknown whether the technology used can be used in other iPhones besides the iPhone5c.
