US President Obama to meet with Chancellor Merkel on Greek crisis

According to Senior Director forEuropean Affairs at the US National Security Council Charles Kupchan, the refugee issue and the Greek program will dominate the discussion during the meeting, while the Americans are insisting that a debt relief is required so as to the Greek debt could be sustainable.

Specifically, Mr. Kupchan said that cooperation of the two countries with Greece will be discussed separately, since US government believes that Greece is among the countries that bear the weight of the refugee crisis at a great extent, and that they should help Greece to the management and hosting of immigrants.
