In his umpteenth interview former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said he was planning to form a …European network to restore democracy on the continent.

Speaking to Reuters, Varoufakis said he would not take part in the ‘sad elections’ in September.

“Instead of having parties on a national level, it will be a European network active on a national level,” said the ‘erratic Marxist’ and one-time visiting professor in Austin, Texas. “It is not something immediate. It is something slow-burning…something that gradually grows roots across Europe,” he said.
