Attackers dressed in military outfits used automatic weapons

Ten people were killed after Indian security forces stormed a siege at a police station in the Indian state of Punjab. Seven people in the police station and the three attackers were all killed during the raid. The attackers, who were armed with automatic weapons had hijacked a car and opened fire at a bus station before going into the Gurdaspur region, according to officials. The six victims included 4 police officers and three civilians said the district’s police chief. According to officials the attackers were dressed in army uniforms and once barricaded  in the police station’s residential quarters started firing continuously.
