New details emerge in the case of the 14-year-old boy accused of stabbing to death his classmate and friend at Gefyra, Thessaloniki, since the local community starts talking about how violent the perpetrator was.

Local residents claimed that the 14-year-old boy had been seen killing dogs and rabbits, while many parents had complained over his violent behaviour towards his classmates. According to mothers of his classmates, the boy was very aggressive and was causing many problems at school.

According to the coroner, the victim had two superficial stab wounds in the eye and neck, while the perpetrator had tried to strangle him before cutting victim’s carotid artery.

The perpetrator will testify again on Tuesday and according to information he will claim that over the last two years he had been bullied by the victim, victim’s twin brother and another boy.

The lawyer of the perpetrator, Theodore Simopoulos, told protothema.gr: “The boy has regretted and has not yet understood what he has done. He told me he felt like being the laughing stock of the school and that he had no intention to kill his classmate. He does not understand that the whole society is against him. He says he wants to go to school and tell his classmates that he is not a killer. “
