The award-winning choreographer and dancer, Israel Galvan, tackles the subject of the persecution of the Roma in fascist Spain during the nineteen thirties and forties through his Flamenco dancing.

“He dances the reality” and bewitches the audience with both his static expressiveness and his incredibly speed that cuts the air in half. His performance achieves the near-impossible and conveys the pain and the suffering but also the pride, free spirit and love of life of an ethnic group that remains persecuted to this day.
