On Thursday evening, police arrested one more member of the far-Right Golden Dawn party, on the charge of taking part in the murder of musician Pavlos Fissas on the 18th of September, 2013 at Pireaus. He is due to appear before an Athens prosecutor on Friday.
The 48-year-old man is allegedly a high-ranking member of Golden Dawn’s Nikea branch. His name had been implicated in the murder from the very start, but it was only now that the special appeals judge issued an arrest warrant against him, on the charge of being a plain accomplice to concerted homicide.
The man in custody had been previously arrested along with 20 more people, by the counter-terrorism division of the police ten days after the murder of Fissas but he was later released.
