According to an FBI announcement, a 16 year old stowaway traveled from California to Hawaii hidden in a plane’s wheel well.

As the Agency’s spokesman in Honolulu, Tom Simon, told the reporters, the 16 year old managed to survive polar temperatures and a lack of oxygen at 38,000 feet, despite traveling halfway across the Pacific Ocean.

The 16-year old was finally spotted on the track of the Maui airport.

The teen was recorded by security cameras at the airport in San Jose trying to hop a fence to get to Hawaiian Airlines Flight 45.

According to Simon, the 16 year old had run away from his family. The spokesman also added that he will not be charged with a crime but will be released to child protective services in Hawaii.
