The Consulate Generate of Greece in Toronto signed an agreement according to which the Hellenic Studies Program will be launched again at the University of Toronto.

The program is called “Hellenic Studies” and belongs to the Centre for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at the Munk School of the University of Toronto. The donation from the Greek Heritage Foundation amounts to $ 180,000 for the first three years aiming to gather two million dollars over the next ten years.

The Hellenic Studies program will start from September 2014 and will cover:

– Greek Language

– Modern Greek Politics

– Greece in the European Union and its geopolitical position

– Scholarships to ten students of Hellenic Studies and educational trip to Greece

– Lectures by prestigious speakers from Greece
