Her right to vote was exercised this morning by prefect candidate of Attica Mrs. Rena Dourou since she arrived at the ballot box station in a school of Aigaleo, Athens.

Mrs Dourou, in a statement made after the vote, noted that “today is the day of the people and not the candidates”.

“From the depths of my heart, I want to thank the judiciary staff, the election commission and the Interior Ministry who are doing everything in their power to ensure a correct and wise procedure. I fight for this district with great people”, stated the prefect candidate, adding that “I am not allowed to not be optimistic”.
