Akadimias Street in the centre of Athens, is closed to traffic due to a suspicious object found in the Legal Council.
The discovery has triggered a major mobilization of police. The explosive devices disposal squad has rushed to the point along with a K9 team with especially trained dogs.
According to reports, a controlled explosion is expected to occur.
The citizen alerted the police at around 7:30 in the morning, after finding an object in the shape of suitcase.
Harilaou Trikoypi is also closed to Traffic, starting from Panepistimiou.
