Responding to Maria Damanakis’ statement regarding possible cuts the minimum wage, Simos Kedikoglou, the government spokesman, reassured the Greek people that there will be no more cuts.
Mr. Kedikoglou said that the EU Commissioner obviously does not know what has been agreed with the EU and troika. He also underlined that it has been agreed with high ranking officials of the EU, as well as with the troika, that there will be no more cuts in the minimum wage in Greece.
“On the contrary, the gradual rise of the national economy paves the way for a corresponding rise in wages,” said Mr. Kedikoglou.
