Government spokesman Simos Kedikoglou responded to main opposition SYRIZA announcement regarding the end of the Parliament’s plenary session by saying that “SYRIZA has once again tried to upset things, while there is no issue under question”.
He also said that “The Parliament continues its operation, as it has done in the last 40 years. Summer sessions have always started in June and the bills passed have the same legal force,”.
“It is known that there is a parliamentary majority that supports the government and its initiatives. If SYRIZA questions that, it can ascertain it through the relevant procedures. Unless, SYRIZA is planning its summer holidays…” Mr Kedikoglou added.
