In an official announcement, the Hellenic Police refuted reports of an encounter with the outlawed terrorist Christodoulos Xeros last Friday in Paleo Faliro.
According to Ethnos newspaper, police officers who were on patrol saw the terrorist but they did not manage to arrest him.
Christodoulos Xeros, who has changed his appearance, has put on a lot of weight, has a beard and long hair, saw that he was watched and disappeared, according to the article.
The police tried to to identify the vehicle number and got so close to him that the terrorist saw them and disappeared quickly.
The newspaper claimed that the police officers have videos and pictures of the incident and try to trace the route that Xeros took, but also the house where he is hiding.
