Xherdan Shaqiri 6′, gets the ball wide on the right. He holds off Garcia and cuts inside and despite the pressure of some more Honduran defenders – who failed to get tight to him – and the fact that he is moving away from the goal, he curls the ball into the top left corner of the net. Valladares stretched but got nowhere near it.

Xherdan Shaqiri 31′, takes his time and waits for Valladares to make a move before calmly slotting the ball past the keeper into the lower right corner of the net.
Xherdan Shaqiri 71′, Just when the Hondurans were starting to have some chances, the Swiss gained possession and the Swiss forward Josip Drmic pushing the ball forward, held, waiting for his teammates to make the run up. He dished it nicely to Shaqiri who blasted it in.
Switzerland has done more than enough to go through behind France in Group E. Switzerland will play Argentina next. Hondura retains a slim hope of qualification.
