The grandson of Jacques Cousteau, Fabien Cousteau, completed the 31-day undersea mission breaking the record for living underwater.

He spent 31 days under the sea, dove to Aquarius Reef Base at Florida, along with two oceanographers.

“It was amazing how much it felt like home,” said Cousteau.

“The main objective of this mission was to transfer out passion for underwater life to future generations and urge them to care about the oceans, to love them and be curious in the same way they were during my grandfather’s years,” said Fabien Cousteau at a press conference.
