The Netherlands beat Costa Rica 4-3 on penalties in the World Cup quarter final and will now face Argentina next week.

The Netherlands controlled the game throughout and possessed the ball for nearly 70% of the game. The Dutch created many chances and did absolutely everything but to score.

Keylor Navas, the Costa Rican goalkeeper, once again played very well and did not leave anyone to score. Robin van Persie, the Netherlands’ leading scorer, missed several gilded chances to end the game in regulation.

The Netherlands will play against Argentina on July 9, which beat Belgium last night and Brazil will face Germany on July 9.
