Of course, Twitter users did not miss the opportunity to comment on the historic result reaching to 36,5 millions tweets.

The unbelievable final score, Brazil-Germany 1-7, left Germany laughing and Brazil crying.

When the match ended, Brazilian fans went on the streets and started burning their country’s flag and buses showing their anger and sorrow.

The Spanish newspaper Marca wrote “Eternal shame” while the French L ‘Equipe described the Brazil’s defeat as catastrophe.

Gazzetta dello Sport described the result as the most shameful event while Fahlo de Sao Paul talked about the most unexpected devastation and slaughter.

Lancenet empazized that it was the biggest shame in the history, whereas Bild chose not to include any words but to use only pictures. Its online edition commented : “Unbelievable! Fantastic! Thank you. We love you.”

Die Welt wrote “The Miracle of Belo Horizonte is already a legend”, whereas Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung wrote “The Seventh Wonder of football”.

Sueddeutsche Zeitung’s title was: “Germany goes to Rio, Brazil goes home” and Stern wrote “the most impressive performance of Germany in World Cup history.”
