Government vice-president and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos met on Thursday with Thessaloniki Mayor Yannis Boutaris at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to sources the meeting of the two men focused primarily on issues concerning the municipality of Thessaloniki, the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) SRF and initiatives to be undertaken by Thessaloniki Mayor.

They also discussed the course of dialogue in the centre-left. According to the same sources, Mayor Boutaris expressed his support for any effort in this direction.
