Eighteen Palestinians from the same family were killed on Saturday morning in southern Gaza by the Israeli army just some time before the 12-hour humanitarian ceasafire.
The representative of the Ministry of Health in Gaza Mr. Ashraf al Kountra said that 18 members of the al-Najjar family were trapped in their home in the village Kouzaa in the east of Khan Yunus on Thursday and that many more have been injured by the bombing.
With these new victims, the Palestinian death toll since the beginning of the Israeli operation against Gaza on the 8th of July stands at 881, with most of them being civilians.
