Matthew Olsen, a top American Official expert on terrorism gives his own definition of ISIS. Controls an area equal to the  UK and its income due to its exploitation of oil in the areas that they have taken over as well as the ransom received for the exchange of hostages, amounts to 750.000 euro daily. Its soldiers are over 10.000 from every part of the planet.

In his interview to the British newspaper “Daily Telegraph” he refers to Jihadists which call them self’s ISIS and which also founded recently “caliphate” meaning “Islamic State (IS), as an Islamic organization which was created during  the rebellion against the President of Syria which later spread “chaotic”  taking over areas in northern Iraq.

According to the American expert, the fact that the fanatic Jihadists were able to take over big parts is a  result of both Iraq and Syria government weakness to deal with them.

Further, he supports that ISIS may be close to surpass Al Qaeda as a terrorism  unit, but however is not unbeatable. Mathew Olsen also states that in order

weaken the Jihadists all governments must cooperate. Already the US air raids in conjunction with the Iraqi and Kurdish attacks from the ground have made them “fragile”.

Finally, he warns that the” Islamic State” fighters are not the only terrorist groups that the global community will have to face as a threat in the future.
