The Choco Factory and Museum opens at the 79th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) on September 6 to the joy of chocoholics! The theme park is expected to welcome over 500,000 visitors.
Located at the premises of the TIF-HELEXPO, the impressive theme park has already drawn plenty of attention with travel agencies from the Balkans all interested in including a visit to this museum in their travel packages to Greece.
The temporary theme park will operate for six months and there will be various activities planned hear with numerous parallel events scheduled throughout the year.
The great interest in the chocolate museum has made its creators consider taking the “Choco Factory and Museum” project to other cities when its run ends in Thessaloniki as interest is huge both in Greece and around the Balkans.
Highlights at the theme park include a chocolate waterfall (the only one in Europe), a gallery, chocolate workshops, chocolate face-painting (and eating), a chocolate library, an Amazonian Hut-Projection Hall, biscuit-making workshops, a chocolate chemistry lab, a maze-pirate ship etc.
The theme park is exclusively sponsored by Greek companies with the grand sponsor being ION, Papadopoulou biscuits, Kri-Kri dairy products, Isomat construction materials and the National Bank of Greece.
