The National Observatory of Athens will be open to public on Saturday ahead of the “Researcher’s Night 2014” event which will be held on September 26.
Visitors will be have the opportunity to walk up to the Hill of the Nymphs at Thissio and observe the night sky guided by experts.
Those who will choose to be there will be able to detect constellations, which are visible at this time of the year, observe the Moon and the Saturn through the “Doridis” telescope, which will be open for this night, and enjoy a unique view of the enlightened Acropolis.
