The Prime Minister stated to the British newspaper Mirror, that the British bombers are ready to begin their mission when the new Iraqi government is formed. That is scheduled to take place next Thursday the 11th of September.
Barak Obama has not as yet sent a formal request to Britain to take part in the “willing coalition” that he is trying to reform at the summit.
After the meeting between the US president and the British Prime Minister, it was announced that they agreed to continue talks, suggesting that the act is perhaps weeks away.
Cameron, before the meeting takes place characterized the Islamic State as a straight threat for Britain, while added that he wishes he could use the “whole weaponry” to attack terrorists which threat to behead the British citizen held hostage.
