An increase was recorded in August as far a air traffic at all airpots was concerned. Flights and passenger arrivals from foreign countries, according to figures from the Civil Aviation Authority, were way beyond expectations.

As the CAA reports, the passengers were more than any of the past five yeaars and this is due primarily to an even better picture of tourism and the gradual improvement of the internal market.
