"Should the Attika experiment succeed thus proving her administrative abilities, she could internally evolve to being SYRIZA's potential leader" states the German magazine

Newsroom September 8 09:34

German magazine Der Spiegel dedicated a full page portrait to the newly elected head of Attica region Rena Dourou. With the title “Attica Experiment” the German magazine comments that SYRIZA managed to win in the elections one of the most important regions of Greece, which could be made an example of how SYRIZA would rule if it was in power.

According to the Journalist she does not agree and she stated: “Me and Mr. Tsipras are very close friends, we have the same age and we were both at the founding of the party, we are not like any others”. The article further mentions that Dourou states that she is not Tsipras opponent and that “if we play the good old political game, the country will have no chance, that is how we will make history”.
