1. ‘Kato Miloi’ Windmills, Mykonos – Bourne Identity

The closing scene of the film was shot at the beautiful island of Mykonos. After seeing the amazing landscape with the windmills on the background. many viewers certainly wish they could make their own escape there!

2 Agios Ioannis Kastri church, Skopelos, – Mamma mia

Visit the tiny chapel of Agios Ioannis, located in the remote north-east of Skopelos, to stand on the spot where Meryl Streep sang ‘The winner takes it all’ before running up the steps of the hill.

3 Horgota Beach, Kefalonia – Captain Corellis Mandolin

The jetty at Horgota beach is where Corelli kisses Pelagia. Horgota is a picturesque town on the east coast of Kefalonia.

4 Beach of Stavros Village – Zorba the Greek

“Zorba the Greek” was shot on the Greek island of Crete. The famed scene in which Quinn’s character dances the Sirtaki was filmed on the beach of the village of Stavros.

5 Holy Trinity Monastery, Athos – For your eyes only

The Holy Trinity Monastery is an Eastern Orthodox monastery in central Greece, situated at the top of a rocky precipice over 400 metres high. The monastery was featured in the 1981 James Bond film, For Your Eyes Only. It features in the climax to the film where Bond ascends the rock cliff and intrudes upon Aristotle Kristatos and Erich Kriegler to retrieve the ATAC decoder.
