Polls by Metron Analysis place the main opposition party, Coalition of the Left (SYRIZA) ahead of the leadership of the conservative New Democracy Party that heads the coalition by 2.6%.

Specifically, SYRIZA received 23%, followed by ND 20.4% and the Greek Communist Party 5.6%, the ultra-right wing Golden Dawn Party with 5.3%, centrists “To Potami” received 4.8% and Independent Greeks at 3%.

Left-wing ANTARSYA gathered 1.4% and right-wing received 1.2%, whereas DIMAR did not appear in the count with under 1% of votes.
