Former Greek royal family dined at The Acropolis Museum

Former King Constantine and his wife Anne-Marie celebrated their golden anniversary with their family and friends at the Acropolis Museum

The former royal couple celebrate today their 50th wedding anniversary and will host a reception tonight at 8:00 p.m. at Yacht Club of Greece. Many businessmen, politicians and other royal families from around the world will attend the event.

However, the celebrations started yesterday evening, with Constantine and Anne-Marie hosting a private dinner at the restaurant of the Acropolis Museum.

The guests arrived in minibuses and apart from the royal family the dinner was attended by Queen Sofia of Spain, Queen Margarita of Bulgaria, Princess Benedict of Denmark, Princess Katherine of Serbia with her husband and many other representatives of the royal families of Europe who keep friendly relations with the former Greek royal family.

The guests enjoyed first a short tour on the monuments exhibited at the museum and then dined at the restaurant of the museum tasting delicious dishes and enjoying the stunning view of Acropolis.
