Equity prices were rising on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE). The basic share price index went up 1.24%, standing at 1,121.73 points at 11:00 am, whereas the turnover was at 10.415 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks went up 1.37% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.60%.

40 of the stocks traded went up, 7 went down and 12 remained unchanged.

All individual sector indices went up with the biggest gains recorded in Banks (+2.46%), Real Estate (+2.11%), Raw Materials (+1.95%) and Food & Beverages (+1.21%).
