In an interview with financial news site Bloomberg on Friday, Greek Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis underlined that a “debt haircut is not an option.”
Mr. Hardouvelis, who visited London to attend the 9th Annual Greek Roadshow of listed companies organized by the Athens Stock Exchange, referred to the possibility of Greece exiting the memorandum and said that the Greek government is willing to discuss “all possibilities.”
Asked whether there is a possibility for early elections in Greece ahead of the presidential election, Hardouvelis replied that Greeks do not want a new round of elections.
