A bomb blast outside the Egyptian foreign ministry in Cairo killed two policemen and two civilians, according to Egyptian media reports.

The explosion occurred on a sidewalk near the foreign ministry, where more than 3000 people are working.

According to information, three people are wounded and one of them is in critical condition.

Witnesses reported to Reuters that they heard a blast in the area and smoke was seen rising briefly from the neighbourhood whereas sirens were heard.
