Heartbreaking screams, tears and devastating images of parents not wanting their babies lifeless bodies being left behind in the icy sea of the Mediterranean.

Members of the Italian Navy in collaboration with Rai TV and the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, through a number of videos give to viewers the opportunity to witness the courage of the rescuers, but also of the immigrants soul force who dare to defy the danger of getting close to death  in order to go to Europe with the hope for a better tomorrow.

The scenes of the first video are overwhelming, while the testimonies of members of the Italian navy talking about the seconds of agony between death and life are simply chilling.
