Men of the Greek Police Department and the Antiterrorist team are searching houses in order to locate terrorist “hideout” which belongs to a group with a regional role in the so-called “urban guerrilla”.

According to information the above named group consists seven to eight people including offenders. It seems that they mainly organize robberies while using heavy weapons in order to gain access and an active role in the “urban guerrilla”.

Investigations are carried out in homes in Athens and in the  second largest city of Thessaloniki. Antiterrorist forces seeking heavy weaponry. According to reports, in Thessaloniki ​​two suspect arrests for the same case have been made. Two of the arrestees were born accordingly in 1988 and in 1984, while a further to arrests were made in Athens.

Similar sources of information indicate that the investigations continue for the case of “terror-packages” as well, that had concerned the authorities about four years ago.

The ongoing investigation was performed in an apartment in Thessaloniki in Navarinou square, about one kilometer of the famous Aristotelous square in the center of the city. Although there were no guns in the apartment, the police found bullets and several transmitters-receivers.

At the same time in an apartment in kolonaki, Athens they found Kalashnikovs, a pistol, grenade and bullets.
