Newsroom October 3 05:09

On 6 October 2014 the application procedure for the second phase of AEGEAN’s program “Konta stous Neous” (Supporting the Youth) starts, through which 500 students shall use more than 22,000 free tickets during their studies.

The program is targeted at all newly admitted students of academic years 2013/14 & 2014/15, studying in Universities away from their residence, who therefore need to travel.

The first phase of this initiative was completed in May 2014, with the announcement of the 250 beneficiaries, first-year students of academic year 2013/2014, from the continental areas and the islands of Greece, who were provided with the free tickets to which they were entitled. AEGEAN has already reserved 11,000 tickets for 250 first-year students of academic year 2013/14, until the end of their studies.

During the second phase of the program, the new first-year students of academic year 2014/15 may apply through www.kontastousneous.gr from 12:00 on Monday 6 October 2014 until 23:59 on 2 November 2014, and the results shall be announced on 19 November 2014 after 11:00.

Following the relevant application and evaluation procedure of the second phase of the programme, each one of the 500 students in total (250 admitted in 2013 and 250 admitted in 2014) shall receive by AEGEAN 8 free tickets per year for the entire four or five years of their studies.

Through the programme “Konta stous Neous”, AEGEAN aims at supporting young people at the beginning of their student lives, while at the same time it financially supports their families, bringing them close to their love ones.
