Mr. Juncker explained that he wants to have a clear view and good knowledge, since, once he assumes office as President of the European Commission on the 1st of November, the Greek issue will be top priority to address in his agenda.
After the meeting followed working lunch, in which other than Mr. Samaras and Mr. Juncker attended the Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Evangelos Venizelos, the Minister of Finance Mr. Gikas Hardouvelis and the advisor to Prime Minister Mr. Stavros Papastavrou.
