The meeting of political leaders that was called by President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades to decide on the Greek side’s stance following the new Turkish provocations in the Cypriot Exclusive Economic Zone just concluded.

According to information acquired by protothema.gr, it was unanimously decided that Mr. Anastasiades should cancel the meeting with Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu that had been scheduled for the day after tomorrow.

The Greek Cypriot leader will also terminate the participation of the Greek Cypriot side in the negotiations for the solution of the Cyprus issue, until the situation relating to the Turkish provocations in the EEZ is reassessed.
