Greek Tourism Expo 2014 is a new exhibition proposal for the tourism industry that is scheduled to take place on December 5-7 at the Metropolitan Expo Exhibition Center, with the participation of 120 exhibitors.

The tourism industry is a major pillar of strategic significance for the economy of Greece and is dynamically linked with many productive sectors of the market. Therefore, the event is supported by the Tourism, Shipping and Development ministries as well as tourism organizations of the country.

According to the official site of the exhibition, the aim of the event is to dynamically display all kinds of traditional and alternative tourism offered by Greece, including maritime tourism, pilgrimage and religious, archaeological and cultural, City Break (urban tourism), congress tourism etc.

Especially for the promotion of Greek tourism abroad, the organizers of the exhibition, in order to attract international buyers, travel agencies and other professionals, will implement the Program “MEET THE GREEKS” which will be accompanied by many interesting events.
