Enjoy your time on a beautiful square in Athens

The tables and chairs are moved from the inside of the cafes to the squares creating small oasis in the busy and crowded centers.

Newsroom October 9 10:59

There was always a special connection between Greeks and their squares. In every city and small village people used to gather in the square to chat, sit, have a coffee or a drink or discuss local or national problems.

A square in cities is also a meeting point, a place where one can sit alone to take a breath, to eat a sandwich or to read a book. But, it is also a place where many cafes, bars and restaurants open their doors for the thirsty and hungry citizens.

In Greece, where the weather is usually good, tables and chairs are moved from the inside of the cafes to the squares creating small oasis in the busy and crowded centers.

Athens is a city that boast many squares offering a wide variety to locals and tourists to choose.
