For the first time ever, the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has managed to climb the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) by the Center for World-Class Universities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The list aims to present the world’s Top 500. The Greek Medical School was in th 151-200 ranking last year along with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

This year the ranking has risen to the 101-150 section.
