The Greek Chamber of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Shanghai Artists Association is organizing an exhibition of Chinese contemporary paintings from Shanghai entitled “Shanghai Fine Art Exhibition in Athens, Greece”.

The event is supported by the Athens School of Fine Arts. This exhibition is part of a successful cultural exchange between Greece and China and will be hosted at the Athens School of Fine Arts’ Exhibition Hall “Nikos Kessanlis”, presenting 85 works of contemporary painting from Shanghai.

The exhibition opens October 16 and will run until October 25.

A delegation of six Chinese artists will attend the opening and participate in a discussion on “Modern Painting in Shanghai”.
