Deputy Foreign Minister Kyriakos Gerontopoulos will carry out a visit to Romania on Tuesday and Wednesday, 21 and 22 October 2014.

On Tuesday morning, Mr. Gerontopoulos will inaugurate the new premises of the Greek School “Athina”, in Bucharest, and meet with the school’s educators and members of the parent-teacher association. He will then meet with the President of the Hellenic Union of Romania and Romanian MP Dragos Zisopoulo, and on the afternoon of the same day he will inaugurate the new offices of the Greek-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On Wednesday, 22 October, Mr. Gerontopoulos will visit the cities of Brăila and Galați, where he will meet with representatives of the local Greek communities. While in Brăila and Galați, Mr. Gerontopoulos will also visit the two cities’ Greek churches.
