Prime Minister Samaras meets with TUI CEO

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras met with the head of the TUI travel company and the Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni.

Peter Long, CEO of TUI characterized his meeting with the Greek PM as exceptional and underlined that “what the government has achieved with political stability is very important since there is a very strong and positive fiscal growth, something which is beneficial to tourism”. He was, also, of the opinion that there will be more opportunities for further development.

As he said, this year was very positive and the number of TUI customers who visited Greece rose by 10%

Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni stated that the great success of Greek tourism has been based on collaborations with many foreign tour operators abroad.
