Equity prices recorded a moderate rise on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) and the basic share price index went up 0.30%, standing at 998.05 points at 11:00 am. The turnover was at 15.14 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks increased by 0.25%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index also increased by 0.89%.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were recorded in Banks (+1.69%), Raw Materials (+1.33%) and Utilities (+1.16%). The biggest losses were recorded in Food & Beverages (-1.42%), Telecoms (-0.70%) and Travel & Leisure (-0.48%).
30 of the stocks traded went up, 23 went down and 12 remained unchanged.
